MARTIFER RENEWABLES
Martifer Renewables operates as a developer in renewable energy, mainly in the development of wind power projects. More than accumulating MWs in operation, Martifer Renewables strategy is based on a strict use of capital in the development and construction of projects. The Group currently has 36.1 MW of wind and solar energy in operation, in Portugal, Spain and Brazil. At the end of the year, the wind parks in Germany, with a total of 53.1 MW, were sold. More recently it has sold 28 MW in Poland. This business area recorded operating profits of 23.9 million Euros in 2010, with a final number of 43 employees. PRIO ENERGY
Prio Energy is a biofuel production and fuel distribution company with an integrated value chain. It has a storage terminal, independent primary logistics through the tank terminal in Aveiro, and plant with tax processing for the transformation of biofuels.
The company already has a network of national stations with focus on the growth in urban areas of Greater Lisbon and Greater Porto. More recently, the company extended its performance to the electric mobility network with the provision of auto-electric stations at its stations. Nutre committed to an oil and bran extraction unit for industrial and animal purposes, with the objective of operating in an integrated and global manner. It also has a bio fuel production unit in Romania. Guided towards the satisfaction of the end client, Nutre has developed a chain of food products based on cereals, also producing, for own brands of big players in food distribution. NAVALRIA
Navalria is a naval site which develops naval construction and repair activities, and the construction of offshore equipment. With a strategic location in the Port of Aveiro and a modernisation process which is in progress, the company has a dry dock, a floating dock, a naval lift and two tilted areas which allow naval construction and repair works to vessels with up to 100 metres.
Navalria, which has been operating for more than 30 years, was bought by the Martifer Group in 2008 with the objective of continuing with its activity and to diversify its supply to the offshore sector. Know more at www.navalria.pt |
